<p>I know that they ask that the two main essays be about a page long, but how many words is that? What I really want to know if they mean single space or double space.</p>

<p>My first one is about 599 words long. Is that too much? </p>

<p>I believe it's single spaced (lengthwise, a page single-spaced). 599 words is perfectly fine, mine was about that length (from what i've read, most others are in the 500-750 word count range, some over)</p>
