<p>there is a 600 CHARACTER why columbia response, a 250-500 word essay on whatever you want and some miscellaneous short answers about your favorite books/shows/concerts/etc.</p>
<p>There’s also a 300 character (less than 2 twitter posts) “what’s your most meaningful extracurricular and why?” question and 150 character “what did you do last summer?” and “what did you do 2 summers ago?” questions.</p>
