Hello all- I've been reading all of your questions for a while now so I finally decided I would ask one myself. I'm currently a sophomore in high school, and was wondering if/where I would find any estimates for what the application pool will be like in a few years. I know it won't be very detailed, but is there any information as to how many they predict will apply, what acceptance rate will be, etc.? Thanks in advance.

Haha. Wow! Do not worry about this. It is really not worth any worry at all since it is beyond your control.

Go get good grades, and be involved. :)

Haha, well, sometimes I wake up from terrible nightmares involving a Harvard rejection letter, and I worry if I don't work hard enough it will become a reality. =D

Thanks for your advice though, I'll be following it!

haha working hard doesnt involve determining the projected applicant pool. Though I can relate to your anxiety, I must say that you have A LOT of time to beef up your application at this point... take that opportunity. The fact that you're on CC is already a step in the right direction, because there is a lot of information here on the boards about how to do well on tests, get unique ec's/awards, etc. Man... I wish I had found this place earlier. Anyway, good luck man.

Thanks, I'll probably be needing it :). I am glad that I started planning ahead soon enough, though I too wish I had started sooner, haha!
