i have to estimate my FAFSA figures for now. is it okay if i put the actual figures from my parents' 2006 tax information later? the most important thing is to submit it on time, correct? thanks

Yes the most important thing is to submit it on time. If you miss the deadline you may be ineligible for any aid. Yes it is ok to estimate. Yes you go back and correct it later. One important thing - do not overestimate. i.e. if you are basing your estimates on previous years income and you know it has gone down - adjust accordingly. It is easier to to get your finaid offer reduced than it is to get it increased if funds are depleted.

OKAY THANKS SWIMCATSMoM!!!!!!!!
