I was just looking at the UC app today, and filling out a rough draft of what I'm going to write down as my extracurriculars and community service.

Basically I have:
~Extracurriculars~
Activity Name Hours per week Weeks per year

Swim team 20 45
Piano 10 50
Science Olympiad 4 38
Math Club 2 38
~Community Service~
Chinese School Helper 2 20
Key Club 1 30
Resource Center Tutor 5 30
Elementary Math Olympiad 1 20
Assistant Teacher

I'm not really sure about these estimates...I'm a little doubtful because on my transcript I have documented about 110 hours of community service, which is a lot less than what the totals would come out to from these estimates.

Do the numbers look reasonable? How strict are colleges about accuracy?
The numbers come out kind of high because I don't do the activities every week, but I wanted to show for how much of the year they're spread over...is that the right format or would it be better to include, say 10 weeks for key club since I only volunteer every few weeks.

Thanks for your input =)
