Estimating your future acceptance, today

Hey guys, we all know that application deadlines were over almost a week ago. We're still busting out asses trying to maintain or raise our GPA as transfer students. I was thinking, maybe the people who got into theses CSU's and UC's for Fall 2013 could comment on here about their

Major
GPA
Schools Applied To
Schools Accepted To
School Chosen

It'd give us Fall 2014 people a little insight to how the system chose for last years admissions. Also if you're applying for Fall 2014, post up your stats and maybe we can rate and help each other out

Major: Business Administration; Finance
GPA: 2.6 (2.59 actually haha)
Schools Applied To: CSU Fullerton, CSU Long Beach, San Diego State University, Cal Poly Pomona, University of La Verne, UC Riverside

Im hoping to get into either Cal Poly Pomona or SDSU, top tow choices. But I know for SDSU their minimum GPA is a 2.9  trying to bust my ass to raise my gpa. I was on a different thread and people were getting into SDSU’s business major with a 3.2 GPA so im assuming below by .2 should be ok? haha hopefully.

Amy chu
Major: chemical engineering or chemistry or microbiology
GPA: 3.34
Schools: San jose state, sonoma state, humboldt, long beach state, san diego state, fullerton, UCDAVIS, UCMERCED
im an okay student okay… i did all the golden fours, have the right amount if not more of units needed

my big brother on the hand
andy chu
major: i actually dont know, i think last time i ask it was engineering of some sort
GPA: my mom said it was 2.20
Schools: san jose state, sonoma, humboldt, and east bay
he has well over 80 units, has flunked some classes as seen from his 2.20 gpa, but has finished all his csu transfer stuff, but has yet to finish all the assist.org classes i believe he is missing calculus 2 and beginning engineering level physics (but has the classes to take it, its just hard for him to get classes)

Not sure I understand the question so, forgive me if this isn’t what you are looking for.

For fall 2013 - my son had a 3.2 CSU GPA and a 1260/1600.

He applied as a business or econ major to:
SDSU - rejected
Cal Poly SLO - rejected
CSU LB - Waitlisted
CSU Chico - accepted and attending
CSU Sonoma - accepted
CSU Monterey - accepted
Sac State - accepted
UOP - accepted.

NCalRent, no you got it all right no worries
but ah man! he got denied by SDSU with a 3.2?? He applied as a freshman?
But at least he got into CSU Chico, thats a good school.

amychu2chu. youre gpa will go up by the end of spring 2014, im sure you’ll have no problem getting in where you want to go. any EC’s for the two UC’s? I’m sure those majors would be impacted and im sure any EC’s would help u out :)

yeh i kinda think it has to go up… im only takin Plastic manufacturing and process
and OChem second level (im done with physics and calc)
if i go to UCDAVIS i’ll be a chemE major as for MERCED if i end up there i’ll go PRE-MED (sounds complicated but its a scenario thing for me)

as for my big bro, i think he’ll be staying at cc level for another good year, or maybe not, i hear sonoma accepts you like a black hole, no offense to sonoma btw, such a great area to go to, i like the isolation!
but yes he is considered a super senior and is hoping to the transfer gods that someone accepts him!!!
