estimation of efc

I was wondering if there is a place where I can get a very good idea of what our EFC will be. I have a junior and we are trying to plan ahead. It seems that we can not fill out the FASA until next year and that seems a little late to get a firm idea on cost. Like many, his choices of colleges will reflect our abililty to pay. I am suspecting that we will not receive financial aid, which will reduce him to looking only at instate, public schools. I did look at the Princeton site. When I did the caculation it came back with a loan listed. I had thought that they no longer did loans so I was unclear about the results.

thanks for your help.
