Does anyone have any recommendations for interesting or fairly easy courses to take that fulfill the ethnic requirement? Or better yet that cover both ethnic and another section (humanities/social sciences)? I'm transferring in this fall and am very unfamiliar with the classes so any insight would be helpful!

I don’t know about easy, but I loved Afro. Am. 156 - Black Music in Amer Cultural History. Lots of reading, but music and history in context. A great class.

You can only meet one requirement per class, so by taking a class that meets the ethnics studies requirement, it will not be eligible to meet the breadth requirement, unless you rather have it meet the breadth requirement rather then the ethnic studies requirement. When applying for graduation you specify for each course which requirement you want the course to meet. I’m an incoming freshman, so I don’t have any first-hand experience with any classes.
