So I am filling my app form and I am stuck at the Ethnicity question.

I would normally consider myself HISPANIC.

However on the form there is only the option of:

x Other Latino

==
and down below there is a form

OTHER LATINO: [WRITE HERE]

I should write Hispanic at the form below???

I am stuck at this!

What is your family's country of origin? That may help answer the question.

I'm guessing that if you have an option of "Other Latino," then you may also have an option that reads something like, "Mexican, Puerto Rican, or Cuban" (3 of the most represented Latino groups in US).

If you don't fall into one of those categories, but your family's country of origin is another Central or South American country, you can feel confident in checking the "Other Latino" box. And, if you want to, you can fill in the line asking for the country.

If your family's country of origin is Spain, then you probably wouldn't consider yourself Latino. In that case, you may want to fill in an "Other" box and state your case there.

Yes I am from South America...

The other Latino box should indicate my country or something like hispanic!

That is what I am in doubt

It should indicate your country. Hispanic doesn't tell them anything; in regular vernacular, hispanic doesn't mean anything specific, it just means you are some form of Latino.

I myself am Cuban, although I've chosen to leave the ethnicity question blank. I am very affluent and have done very well academically, so I don't believe I deserve the boost it would give me.

I will just keep Other Latino selected

I have nothing to write below!
