Eugene Lang The New School

I've been very interested in this school lately. Sadly, I find nothing about it online (aside from its website). I want to know how it is education-wise. I like their different style of teaching. I also want to know about their financial aid and stuff. It's not a cheap school but they have this long list of scholarships they offer to people.

Admissions-wise, I think I am a very strong candidate GPA and SAT wise (3.6 and ~2100) but they seem to care more about creativity and independence. While I am no artist, I am very independent when it comes to my learning and very creative/cultured in books, especially philosophy. How does this fare along with my stats?

For information, I plan on going to law school, not working right out of college.

Eugene Lang is a safety for you. Their students have pretty low GPA and SAT. Their housing cost is too much. I just don’t understand the reason behind selecting Greenwich village for the dorms. Education wise, Eugene Lang is supposed to be good. You can gain double degrees in Music and Design along with Liberal Arts. I like the way they represent themselves but the main factor is cost.

Yeah I know it is expensive, which is why I asked about their aid and stuff.

I’m glad it is a safety for me. I don’t really care about its ranking or anything; it just looks like a place for very intellectually motivated people like me.
