Eating some Ciao Bella Mango Sorbetto that I picked up on sale at Whole Foods. Very tasty stuff!
I just re-ordered a product and realized it belonged on this thread.
If you wear eyeglasses and ever have problems with them slipping down your nose, “Wedgees” (unfortunate name, I know) will completely solve the problem, even if your nose is sweaty from exercise. They’re little doohickeys that slip over the curved part of the arm of the glasses and keep them firmly in place. They don’t show with most female hairstyles, and even for men with short hair they aren’t that terribly noticeable (H uses them). And you don’t feel them at all. I’ve never understood why every optician doesn’t sell them, since this is such a common problem, and, in my experience, all the optician’s adjustments in the world don’t solve it for much longer than it takes to drive away from the office. Available online from their own website and through Amazon. They do loosen up a little over the years, which is why I’m reordering, but they’re cheap, so it’s not a big deal.
We are loving our as seen on tv “magic mesh” screen door…$15 at Walmart. It lets you keep a door open and keep the bugs out. The pets can come and go. Works with magnets.
^ I’ve often thought of buying one of those screens. Did you attach it to your door frame with velcro and stickers? Does it damage anything @TempeMom ?
My door is taller and the screen skirt doesn’t reach the bottom. So just check the dimensions. They use this sort of thing in lots of places. There’s a model for the garage opening, too.
Ours is about 2-3 inches below the bottom of the door. I can’t speak to damage as my husband installed it…but, that said, I think it was bulletin board tacks. So it couldn’t be too bad. We’ve used it many many times a day for a couple of months and no issues.
Many of us love our egg thingy, but how many have used the Dash Egg Cooker? Not only does it do soft/hard boiled eggs, but also fried, poached, scrambled, omelette eggs. My kids use it. They put their eggs in, go do something else, and come back a few minutes later to cooked eggs. I have one in my RV.
There are now larger versions as well…

We have one of those screen door thingys, but it’s homemade…from when one of the dogs went straight through the sliding screen door! Never got it fixed and it works just fine!
If you have a Nespresso machine, you may like the free plastic cups in which they give samples, at Nespresso stores. They’re cute and super functional for a dorm room. My son says it has already accidentally fallen to the floor and didn’t break.
Here’s a cutie. https://getfitnlean.com/products/manatea-infuser
In time for Thanksgiving…a turkey lifter. I use it once a year but love it.

@lookingforward That tea infuser would be a great stocking stuffer!
nvm. Cute but can’t share it.
Been meaning to tell everyone about the prepara herb keeper- eco edition. I LOVE it!! And bought several as gifts. They keep herbs fresh for WEEKS and the one I have is big enough to hold asparagus too. I have had fresh sage in mine for over a month and it is still remarkably fresh (only one leaf looks sad) I was skeptical but I LOVE it! I also had basil in it prior to the sage. The basil didnt last quite as long, but the basil was from my garden and already beginning to show some signs of age. http://www.amazon.com/Prepara-Herb-Saver-Eco-Edition/dp/B00ERE2RLK
This product is wonderful - great over cream cheese and to put on crackers
Prssy’s of Vidalia Vidalia Onion and Georgia Peach Salsa (10 oz jar). Future in-laws bought it in GA, but there is a web site and 800 number www.prissys.com and 800 673 7372. Maybe a store somewhere near you has it.
Prissy’s. Somehow typed too fast.
I love my seal-a-meal. Really, my new favorite toy. Useful.
I ordered something called, “Ecoegg” which will allow me to do 864 loads of laundry without having to buy anymore detergent. All I have to do is put this egg with beads inside the washer instead of my own detergent. I got it on special for $30. I will let you know how it works out. It will be nice not to have to buy detergent for the next couple of years. They claim it doesn’t have any harsh chemicals and will not leave any residue on your clothes. The package I ordered they say should last about four years.

Let us know how you like the Ecoegg. The reviews were quite mixed.
Do is it get out stains though? Between cooking, eating, etc. I always seem to have a stain or two that needs attacking and nothing is better than old school Tide IMO.
