Hey guys, i'm german (male, caucasian) and currently visiting yr 12 (we got 13 years of school over here...xd)

i've started recently thinking about going to college in the us and of course, harvard was one of the first names which came to my mind... but i was just wondering, since i don't know anybody who's studying in the us, if there are many european/german undergrads at the ivies/harvard or are there mostly us guys and loads of asians?

i've researched quite a bit on diverse pages, and found on the one hand, that the admission process is more or less nationality and race independent, but on the other hand they state that they try do build a student body, which is quite diverse in every aspect... so does this mean if you belong to a so-called minority you'd have a bigger chance of getting accepted than someone else who's white american/asian/idian or whatever?

thanks a lot for helping!
