Evaluate Chances for Rutgers...

Basically, I am Hispanic and Indian (Not Native American). But I check Hispanic on the aplpication since it helps me out since to many Indians are in college.
My GPA is exactly 3.255 which I will just call a 3.26. This is weighted.
My SATS are 1380/1600.
I have super hardass classes all through high school. In Junior Year, I had AP Physics, AP Calc, and AP Chemistry.

I just would like to know what are my chacnes of Rutgers New Brunswick Engineering. I have sent it my stuff already and applied Priority. I just like to know what my chances are since I have not heard back and am getting a tad worried. Thanks alot guys.

I think you have a good chance, all things considered.

I think you should be fine. I have known many people with worse stats than yours and who weren't URM's who got in. Good Luck

Bump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you're in. no doubt
why don't you aim a little higher

Bump...Can I get some more thoughts please

1600/2400 SAT score with a 3.2 GPA for engineering I would say you are borderline. Rutgers NB right

I didnt have 1600 outta 2400. I had a 1380 outta 1600. And my GPA is 3.26 which I assume gets rounded up to 3.3. So with a GPA of 3.3 and a SAT of 1380 on the 1600 scale, I am still borderlined??? And yes, this is New Brunswick. Also, I thout being a URM (Hispanic) would help...?

I got in with a 1320/1600. I got into the the school of environmental sciences and school PHARMACY!!!!!! I thought that was a mistake, I didn't even get into their school of engineering. But I probably will enrolling in NJIT's accelerated programs. Maybe their accelrated MD program in trinidad.

How on earth did you get into Pharmacy, but not engineering??? What were your stats..
