Evaluate My ECs

Hi! I was hoping you guys could give me some feedback on my ECs. I hope this is the right category for that- I’m new to CC and not sure how it all works.

Before senior year, I had never given too much thought to college or admissions, but now the clock is ticking down, and I’m wondering if my ECs are okay. They reflect my interests and what I enjoyed doing, but I’m scared that they don’t reflect a deep passion for anything.

There are a few other clubs and activities, mostly music & service based, that I’ve done for a year or two, but these are the ones that I really care about. If it helps- I’m aiming for a few LACs, and Wake Forest is my highest reach. I know it’s too late to change anything, but how would a typical admissions counselor view these?

Thanks for the help- I appreciate it!

EC’s are not about quantity, but quality. Show deep involvement and PASSION. If you feel very passionate about these, try to show it in your apps (e.g. write an essay about it) so adcoms will know. But overall, pretty good.

Thanks for the advice  I’m pretty passionate about each of them- I’m just not sure how to communicate that in my essays. I’ve had great experiences volunteering in my community, but I’ve heard that can easily turn into a generic, forgettable essay.

Also, make sure your GPA and SATs are within range for your schools

Will do; thanks! At the moment, I don’t see my GPA or SATs limiting my possibilities too severely. Any advice/feedback regarding my ECs?

Your EC’s are awesome. Really.
