Evaluate stats for transfer please

I AM A DISGRUNTLED HS SENIOR- I WILL TAKE ADVICE AND COME BACK A YEAR LATER WITH SOME STATS

we cant evaluate anything without college gpa

To be truthful and not to sound too overconfident, I think I will be able to maintain a 4.0 at this local college. My sister already goes there, so I already have a list of extracurriculars planned out. I have decided not to be depressed about this local college thing, and make the best of it while I make plans to transfer

By the way, I am planning on going the double major route of bio and research or bio and business. Basically, your average pre-med student

Yeah..What Domino said..Without some sort of college performance then we can tell you nothing..well, I can tell you Princeton doesn't accept transfer applications, at least not right now.

To say that you're going to get any certain GPA after never exactly taking a class at the college is a bit petty..Besides, 4.0's and EC's don't exactly guarantee your acceptance..especially to those colleges you have listed.

(shaking my fist and squinting my eyes at the disgruntled hs'ers)

nikki422 -- LOL. I'm doing that same thing...at UCSD's perpetual "applications are being reviewed at this time" screen. :(

Haha Sabrina, I feel your pain.

To all the lingering HS Seniors..We all know the college application/acceptance/rejection thing sucks..We are sorry you didn't get into your dream school, really. It's not that we're mean..at least I'm not..it's just that it's crazy to even discuss transfer options with those who have not even been in a college classroom yet..We don't have ESP, because if we knew how/what exactly we needed to do to get in, then we wouldn't be worrying ourselves sick for the next month.

It is kind of the blind leading the blind to have us giving predictions on transfer admissions at this point.

I feel like posting my own stats and posing the same question, jassi. I think we all do on this board! Good luck with the local school next year. Your high school stats were great. Keep it up and I'm certain things will fall into place for you.

if you're feelin pre-med, don't go the bio route...if you really want to major in something biology related, try biomedical engineering, or biochem. physics will work too...but so many bio majors apply every year, and it leads to less diversity major-wise...do the requirements, but med-schools look highly upon majors that deviate from the traditional natural or physical sciences

But isn't a double major in business away from the norm of most medical school applicants? I really appreciate your advice nahrafsfa. More input would be great.

You didn't leave the list of colleges up, so I'm not sure, but most of the top schools (barring UPenn, CMU, etc) don't even offer business majors.
