Even a chance

<p>I was wondering if anyone out here can help me?</p>

<p>It’s a two part question;
A) Do you even think i have a chance of admission at brown ( or any ivy for that matter).
B) do you think i’d be accepted to the summer program?</p>

<p>I must admit my freshman grades aredeplorable, using a 4.0 scale here is my gpa each year.</p>

<p>9- 1.9 & 2 extra curricular act. no comm service =( —> I suppose i could write my essay as to why I did so poorley. and how ive turned around.
10- 3.8 & 2 extra curr. act. no comm serivce.
11- 3.9 & 6 extra curr. act. little over 40 hrs. comm service. Member of NHS
12- has not happened yet plan on 3.9- 4.0 & 5 extra curr. act. and member NHS.with about 40 hours comm. service</p>

<p>in 9th and 10th grade i was in all general classes; 11th all honors & 1 AP (Chem); 12th all honors and 2 AP’s ( LIT and Either stats, bio, or gov’t)</p>

<p>If I do well on sat’s and act’s do i have a chance at any ivy league. would i even have a chance at one of theyre summer programs</p>

<p>I don't think the summer programs are particularly selective, it's moreso a matter of who's willing to pay the tuition.</p>

<p>If it makes you feel better, I know someone who got into Yale with a 2.6 GPA and a 34 ACT. Then again, he's brilliant.</p>

<p>i've had several friends with around the same grades as you who've got into the summer program so i think you have a reasonable chance for the summer school.</p>
