What should I do? Those mean my application has not completed? :-(

it might have taken them awhile to update everything...i sent my app in jan 1st and it had everything on it until like 3 weeks later...so yeah...you should call them though

you applied RD right?

nope, i applied ED2

Yes, I applied emory on December something..... for regular decision

I applied on the deadline january 15th and I also got the same message as ldu1207. I figure that they were just working on the EDII stuff first and they'll update ours eventually. I tried calling the admissions office today and when i got to the part about the application status I listened to a looong pre-recorded message that basically told me nothing.

Dont worry, even im having the same problem

My son transferred to Oxford from a well known LAC after he found drinking to be too much a part of the culture there. He looked at Emory and preferred Oxford because of the LAC type experience. Since virtually all students are under 21, it is an officially dry campus. For him (a non-drinker), that was a positive feature but it may dissuade some students. He enjoyed the close community of students and teachers. He met with profs outside of class and even took a private tutorial as a sophomore which would be difficult to do at any university. He enjoys Emory but does miss the Oxford experience.

I have another son who I believe is well qualifed for Emory (National AP scholar after his junior year) but will only apply to Oxford. It is unfortunate that some may think of Oxford as second choice to Emory. To many students, it is the positive aspects of Oxford that are attractive. I look at it as experiencing Emory in two different flavors. It is great that Emory offers a LAC experience in addition to the opportunity to go to a great research oriented university.

I applied Emory Scholars and it took at least three weeks or more for opus to show that they had received everything. Also alot more people applied RD and they were working on EDII, so it's probable that it will take even longer for RD to show on opus. I wouldn't worry too much. I do think the whole 5 business days thing is very misleading though, it definitely takes longer than that. Best of luck.
