I’m a girl. Entered high school at around 5’ 5".
I’m a junior now and I’m 5’ 6". Most of that happened sophomore year and last summer - I gained an inch and 15 lbs from Sept '10 to Sept '11
The weight gain was actually pretty healthy for me since my BMI had been about 16 or so when I started 10th grade (AKA, borderline underweight)

I’ve been 5’3 3/4 ever since mid-5th grade. I want to be 5’6 though… I’ve been drinking a lot of milk lately, but I think my growth plates may have closed.

I’m female…my height hasn’t changed in years, lol. Actually, my facial features haven’t changed in that period of time, either. And this is why people still think I’m an 8th grader/HS freshman if I’m lucky -_-"

It used to bother me a lot, but now I think it’s kind of funny. I mean, I could totally walk into my sister’s middle school and go to classes there for a day and no one would look twice at me, lol. I find the idea of actually doing something like that vaguely amusing…

Yeah, when you start to consider doing crazy things like that, it’s a sign that you’re working too hard.

I’m 5’6’’ and have been that way since I was 13. Maybe I stunted my growth because of lack of sleep. I’m going to see an endocrinologist and see if I can be prescribed hgh because short stature can be a real problem in so many areas.
