Everyone Get A Life Seriously

is finding out your score 3 hours before the crack of dawn really gonna make it better....does obessesing about it for 12 hours prior and trying to find loopholes make your score better.....as far as ive seen collegeboard does not reward people devoted to refreashing the "see my scores" page....Everyone on this site has enough stress in their life already so just make it easy on urself get a good night sleep at check your scores at 11 or 12 like i am doing would it be the easiest thing to do....no but it certainingly would be the best

My S has no idea his scores will be available tomorrow. It just isn't on his mind at all. I will be the one checking when I wake up in the morning.

I envy your son.

It's just interesting. Finding out my scores in interesting - so much more fun and amusing than grades or school - really gets your adrenaline going - and when you really go on the site and it says "your june 2005 scores are up" - your whole suspenful emotions change and suddenly you become apprehsive - afraid to click even though you know they are avaliable. It's just fun, okay?

Yea, but I mean, cmon, worrying about them 12 hours beforehand won't make them better...now, for the whole 16 days, that's another story. I tried it this time, we'll see where it takes me ;)

I had no idea when my scores would be online when I took Bio as a sophmore last year. The only reason I even remembered that I had taken the test is that my friend asked me what I got...It's only after I came on this site that I joined the group of constant refreshers.

agree agree agree
it's exciting!!
how precisely you described my feeling!

You can still get a good nights sleep and check your scores early, as soon as I see my scores I'm going to bed and since I'm free all day, I can sleep however long I want. Works for me, especially being a night owl.

I agree about the excitement. It's like Christmas, staying up hoping to catch Santa ie CB putting the presents under the tree ie the website. But you never know whether you'll get the presents you wanted especially if you wished for big things such as an 800 or 700 or whatever your goal is.

Ohhh boo -- don't worry about others staying up late if it doesn't worry you.

For me, I suck at ACT because Science brings down my score. I'm excited to see how I did without it. VERY excited. Plus it's summer and I have absolutley no plans tomorrow so why the hell not?! This is what summer is FOR and if I want to be excited and stay up all night to see how my months of preparing paid off I'd like to do it without being judged.

For us adrenaline junkies, studying for the forsaken SAT and neglecting our social life is a small price to pay for a freakin' awesome SAT score and clicking on the "View your June SAT Scores".

:-D

I was at a bbq today and ppl were discussing SATs and I said mine and everyone was just like silent. It was then i realized how great college confidential is, where ppl see my score (2300) and tell me how short of 2400 i am. Thanks guys!

It's like the time I took the PSAT as a sophmore...All of my friends/acquaintances were scoring in the 30s to 40s, and I pull out a cool 200. I know exactly what you're talking about dude. I check out CC and everybody talks about trying to reach 240 or NMS.

huh... someone's paranoid enough to lie about their scores...

i totally made that up dude i didnt even take those tests

I am tired of people trying to let everybody know of their scores. What are you trying to achieve? Nobody was asking you for your score nor it this discussion about what people did today... A little ego-buster, huh? get-a-life...

then probably u should stop telling everyone your score first of all. people aren't retarded to know that the max score on sat is 1600.

in my previous coment this was the quote from somebody who happened to now delete their comment from this topic -

i just commented on it

sorry for being unclear

My D knows the scores will be up today (only because I told her from reading CC), but I'm sure she's still sleeping and won't be up until 11 or 12.

D can't even remember her May SAT I scores! (it was over 2300).
That's how much she views these test scores, says "they aren't very interesting" and it's instant-forget after the testing.

My heart was pounding like crap when I turned on the computer to get my scores today. I even skipped school because I didn't want to look at the faces of my teachers (I honestly hate school, but the reason why is a story for another time). A 2340 score was so worth it. :D I can't wait for the detailed score report.
