Everyone gets chance'd

Hi

I know I've only been on the forum for a little while but I think it might make for an interesting experiment to see if we can innovate the chance me section. Although it may not be for everyone, I thought I might give it a shot to try to ensure that everyone gets at least one response.

The goal: for everyone to have at least one response by another member and for fewer posts left unread by people who want an earnest response. Additionally, the 1 post limit rule keeps the chancing going and allows for everyone to get what they came for.

The rules: relatively simple
1) Everyone gets 1 post for their stats
2) First person posts their stats and any other necessary criteria along with a list of schools that they would like to apply to
3) Next poster would copy the school list of the first poster and chance them on a 'reach-target-safety' scale and then post their own stats along with their own list of schools
4) repeat the cycle

Example for those who are still confused:
1st poster---
posts stats and school list
2nd poster---
answers school list with 'reach, target, or safety' for each school and then follow up with their own stats and schools
3rd poster and so on---
repeat of 2nd poster's rules

If anyone has any questions in regard to this they can pm me (although it should be pretty straightforward). Whoever wants to post first is welcome to do so.

“I’m sorry I do not know anything about the above schools so I cannot chance”

And so goes the rest of the thread.

Yeah, if you don’t have any (semi)accurate ability to chance someone, hold off until someone posts with a list of schools that you are familiar with…

Also, to ease the ability to ensure good ‘chancing’, I modified an old results template that you can all use. Just fill it out

Here is the template:

Sorry, I thought it’d be best to re-start considering heyitssmia didn’t understand that chancing is a necessity. Unfortunately, I am also relatively unfamiliar with your schools and can’t provide any input.

If anyone could chance Student129 and would then like to post their stats to get the thread back on track, please feel free to do so… (sorry for the mix up)

I feel this would only work if it was a couple threads, each focussing on different schools. One could be top 50, another LACs, another public universities and so on…

Y’know what? Since this thread is a trainwreck, lets try again…

New thread…http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1508291-everyone-gets-chance.html#post15982155

IGNORE THIS THREAD AND USE THE OTHER ONE… the point is to chance the person above you (which none of you are doing)

READ THE RULES!
