<p>Hello, and thanks in advance for the time spent in your evaluation of my chances. Anyway, I'm a white kid from Missouri and I want to go to NYU (CAS). I'm applying ED, also applying to BU and GW.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.88 UW, no weighted, no rank</p>

<p>SAT: 2080, 700M/680CR/700W</p>

<p>SAT II: Physics, Math2c, Euro or US His. I expect 650 or better.</p>

<p>ACT: SHould i take?????</p>

<p>Freshman: 4.0, went to private school, no honors, hated that ****
Soph: 3.85, B and B+ each semester in Adv Algebra and Acc. Chemistry
Junior: 3.65 first sem. 7 core classes, 3 AP's, 2 Honors, BUT DROPPED AP BIO B/C I WAS GOING CRAZY. 3.90 second Sem. 6 core classes, 1 less AP</p>

<p>Senior: 5 AP's Always the hardest courseload possible but have a downward trend until last sem. Junior year :( How will this affect everything????</p>

<p>EC's:
Guitar - In a band (we gig every weekend practically and have recorded in the studio, I play guitar, have worked as a studio musician before, write everything ourselves, my passion), Jazz Band, lessons for 7 years.
Piano - 6 years, not very good even still, no awards, etc
Mandolin - 2 years</p>

<p>Writing - my second Passion, Assistant Editor in Chief of our literary Magazine, was editor of the yearbook, writing a novel right now.</p>

<p>Pres of Amnesty International
Pres/Founder of Webmasters Club
Pres of Environmental Club
Vice pres of Film Club
Officer of GSA, held a huge convention edu people, etc, non-discrimination policy change, lot going on</p>

<p>You should definitely be in at BU and GW. Mostly likely to NYU.</p>

<p>Damn, how much is it going to hurt, i was taking 7 core classes last semester while playing soccer and it sucked, i didnt read outside of school or write at all for like 4 months. Since i dropped it, im taking two AP's now, with 4 other core classes. Is it going to hurt that badly, I doubled up on sciences and was taking and still am taking accel. physics. I dont even like science lol.</p>

<p>You can take the ACT if you feel like you can do better. Most people find the ACT to be easier than the SAT. What are you planing to major in?</p>

<p>English but ya i have heard that the ACT is alot easier for ALOT of people.</p>
