Everyone needs to RELAX!

Every thread I've been on there are sooo many people stressing out over questions and answers and certain sections. You guys need to chill out. The world will not end if you don't get a 36 on the ACT. Less than 1% of people get a 36 composite for that matter. You will still go to a good college, get a good job, and have a good life. The test is out of your hands now, and there is nothing you can do but wait for the scores in a few weeks.

Also, I hate it when people say "Okay, I know I got at least 15 wrong now, maybe there will be a -15 = 36 curve?" You can't rely on a curve for a 36 in every section. You can't even say for sure how many you got wrong, because NO ONE knows the answers (except the ACT), so just relax because everything is going to be fine. Sorry for the rude rant, but I can't be the only person who feels this way.

Hi TKR116, your join date for CC says June 2012 so I’m not sure if you’ve browsed the ACT Preparation subforum after other ACT examinations such as the ones in April or June. People usually aren’t this concerned about their scores. However, this test was abnormally difficult in some sections and people are unsure of whether the curve will accurately compensate for this (apparently curves are pre-determined). Also, many seniors take their final ACT in September and they want to make sure they did well.

Oh, I know. I actually am a senior and took this ACT yesterday, so I know what it was like. It was not abnormally difficult. The only section that was fairly challenging was the science, which I have seen numerous times on threads. I know there is a ton of pressure, I really want to do well on this one, but there is nothing that can be done about it now.
