Since there are so many people this year with pretty high stats, the discerning factor most likely was the essays.</p>

<p>In my school its seems like ECs and community services were the determining factor. But then again, I haven't read all my friend's essays. Also SATs don't seem to matter too much.</p>

<p>still nothing! all of my friends have gotten in and i have better stats than them. I think thats what is making this the hardest. And they are just assuming I'm rejected just cuz its taking this long cuz they don't really understand the whole process.</p>

Then continue to say how the loss of your best furry friend created an emotional distress, which then caused the drop in ur 2nd semester senior year grades. </p>
