ok so even if CollegeBoard "did" throw one question out...we should still get the pts because it wasn't the "test takers" fault, it was CB' s fault.

IvyLeague, are you going to call?

^ exactly, we would be losing one potentital raw point.

IveLeague99, are you going to call?

No, they would scale it accordingly. They wouldn't just count it against you. Plus, it was probably a question with more than one right answer, so a lot of people likely missed it.

but do we know for sure they threw out a question?

I called today, but it's Sunday . So I will call tomorrow morning. So even if CB did recenter the scale, it's still a little harsh. It seems that the highest possible would be a 790 , not 800.

46 correct / 1 wrong / 1 omit
11 Essay

=770

One extra point in raw score would be sweet
(I don't remember leaving any blanks either)

Guys, I'm pretty sure they threw out "as visible as smog" or something.

a -4 and (a -5 total, including the penalty) only gets you a 70 on mc. That does seem a little harsh, but I don't know how they fixed the scale.

Yea i got a 70 on MC. Along with a 10 on the essay, that was a 710. Some more points would be great

I missed two and got a raw score of 75.
On the practice tests 75=-3, so maybe.....

That's exactly what I got JTC. I think the scale is somewhat the same as in March, exect everyone's score is lowered by a raw point. I don't quite understand what they did.

suppose they re-center the curve and boost our scores...
we'll get only like 10 points !?!? is it worth it ...

They out to throw out the whole writing section. Most of the "no errors" sentences are still lousy writing.

"suppose they re-center the curve and boost our scores...
we'll get only like 10 points !?!? is it worth it ..."

from 780 to 790, heck yes

someone call 2m..and post what Cb said..wow...I hope that add points..

if it were something like 1990 to 2000, then yea :P

This thread may help.

It depends, assuming the scores go up, they may go up by 20 points. Hopefully they won't go down.

It won't affect me. But there is a kid at my school that would get a 2400 with those 10 pts. Bastard.
