Here ya go, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/645763-how-write-12-essay-just-10-days.html

I don’t quite agree that you need a template, but it does a lot of good to give you a rough outline before you go in as well as some neat tips.

Here’s another one that’s worth looking at, yesterday’s SAT Essay fell under one of the categories for example, sol it is extremely prevalent.

sorry for this dumb question but when people say

-5, -7 MC or something

does that mean that they missed 5 questions? or dies it mean that they missed 4(+1) for the addition 1/4?

this has confused me for like months now haha.

i think i got
-0 M (800)
11/12 Essay -0/1/2 W (800)
-10-12 (questions wrong) CR

what does that bring me to? what would my CR score be? :frowning: i usually do extremely will on CR missing only 2-4 but this one just killed me

Wow. Lots of great scores here.

CR: -0
W: -0/-1
M: four questions wrong (not omitted; one was grid-in)

To somebody that knows, what does that make my score?

4 math wrong (2 omits)
4 wrong CR
1 wrong writing (9-10 on essay)
Rough score?

CR - skipped two, -4
Math - -0/1 just in case I did something dumb
Writing - -3, hopefully 10-12 essay

Nobody replied to me, lol. Can someone give me an estimated score please?!!

CR -1/-2
Math -2 (this will definitely increase), like 6-8 omit
Writing -1, 10-12 essay
Honestly I want over 2000, but more specifically over 2200 to beat my indian friend who’s been bragging about all the SAT courses he takes while I take none.

@ 1540 and add 760. 2300

@college55
CR: 730/740 (If the curve is what’s expected)
M: 770/800
Writing: 730/750

@Interficio
CR: 800
Math: 660/670
W: 770/800

@zposture
CR: 800
W: 770/800 (depending on essay)
M: 700/710

@chkw94
CR: 760/770
M: 710/720
W: 770

my goal was 2300 but i failed miserably
math- -1
cr- -9
writing- -5 w/ prob 11 essay

estimates?

help me out here:

math: -1
CR: -7
writing: -2, essay: 10/11

estimates???

Math:-2
CR/Writing:-0

Probably 2350 or so as long as I didn’t screw up the essay.

thanks! appreciate it.

This is how I’m looking so far from the forums. Didn’t omit any.
Math: -3 wrong (expecting more)
Reading: (edit) -1
Writing: -2 or 3, maybe 9-10 essay if I’m lucky.

Can anyone give me a rough estimate?

about 2250-2300 depending on the curve

i didn’t have a goal really since I took it this time to boost my superscore

math: clean so far.
writing: around 0-3 wrong with essay ranging 8-11
reading: around 7-12 wrong

i expect the curve to be something like
math: 800-770-750-730-710-690-680
reading: 800-800-800-780-760-750-740-720
writing MC: 80-78-76-73-71-70

writing scaled:
MC 80 (essay 12, 11, 10, 9) 800-800-800-790
MC 78 (essay 12, 11, 10, 9) 800-800-790-770
MC 76 (essay 12, 11, 10, 9) 800-780-770-750
MC 73 (essay 12, 11, 10, 9) 780-760-750-740
MC 71 (essay 12, 11, 10, 9) 760-750-730-710

this is based upon my own personal opinion that math was ridiculously easy, critical reading was medium hard-hard, and writing was average.

^ I’ve heard a lot of people say that the math portion was really easy as well. I thought it was moderately difficult, but that’s just me.

math -1
reading -2/-3
writing -1/-2
what would my score be?

@rd2012 –

M: 780
CR: 800/780
WR: 800/780 depending on the essay

confetti, I agree completely… or maybe I just feel math was hard because my last math section I had to skip 3-4 b/c of time… and that left a bad impression on me… it wasn’t as hard as it could’ve been, but it wasn’t facile for me.

CR: -1
Math: -2(but I’m prone to stupid mistakes) and 2 or 3 omitted(depends on which section was experimental)
W: -1/2/3 and 10+ essay
