Everything happens for a reason

@ lasko, thanks a lot man. i really thought i would be too. it’s a hard blow to take, but im accepting that it’s fate and i’m moving on… it’s hard to get over it because it was my dream school, but now that i think about it, all of those wants were manifested by my silliness anyways… (and UCLA basketball)
and deuces, thanks a lot for the words of wisdom. good luck to you too, wherever you go
i will be waiting to hear back from Cal, but as of now am extremely skeptical.
sad thing is i hardly applied to any colleges because i was sure i was going to LA… :frowning:
if all else fails i will end up at Irvine…sad sad sad.
but then again, if it’s meant to be, its meant to be.
thanks again guys :)

Mass migration to the UCB board!

its funny. I applied to 9 schools, all for theatre in acting and every school ive applied to i got in. except for my #1… UCLA. I got into the top 5 acting programs in the country (julliard, Carneggie, BU, NYU, and Northwestern). Ucla is out of the top 5. ■■■. haha

well congrats beahoo for getting into all the other ones. all 5 of them are stellar! you’ll have an amazing time wherever you go. at least you have that to look forward to.

ok as far as difficulty of gaining admission, is nyu as difficult as ucla? i know the acceptance rate is a little higher, but i just want a little point of reference as to what my rejection from ucla (and acceptance to nyu) may mean for my other schools…

BREAKFASTCLUB88, I want you to do one thing for me:

Appeal.

“Who else might go to UCSD if their other school are not accepting them??”

If Berkeley doesn’t take me I’ll probably be going to UCSD or University of San Francisco (if they give me money).

im goin’ to berkeley forums with yall, later boys! see yall there!
