Evolutionary Biology in Canada??

What are the top universities in Canada for evolutionary biology?

I've heard UBC is probably number 1, does anyone have any idea how it ranks compared with the American ivies?

Thanks.

anyone…?

I think you apply to programs in Canada (for undergrad).

UfT has a well-known Life Sciences program. I also heard Queen’s is good for Life Sciences and so is McMaster. I don’t know about UBC.

Hi Masziki, U of T is the only EvBio program I can describe, but I am an EvBio specialist and undergraduate RA there, so I know it well.

U of T boasts some very prominent biologists including Spencer Barrett (if you like plants) and Locke Rowe (if you like behaviour… and flies…). What else I can tell you I’m not sure, since I have no reference point, but I do know that I (obviously) believed U of T the best of my Canadian choices.
