Eww. APs start tommorow!

Anyone else take AP Bio?
We all found the multiple choice really easy, but I was pretty annoyed with the circulatory one.
How did other classes felt about it? We have an AWESOME teacher. He has been teaching it for 10+ years, and only 2 people have not passed, one of which messed up on her bubbles at the start, so all of her mc was off.

so i did bio last year and only 2 people out of 25 passed. yeah. and for my apush last year only 7 or 9 passed out of about 60. great pass rate at my school, yea? lol. i think not.

oh, and btw, to all the regulars, this is me being back. =]

i had to stay at my grandmas house this weekend.

anyone take physics?

Nieck, I was actually IN La Jolla this weekend and still managed to find a way to check my e-mail and post. Say "hi" to sheer dedication.

How this site is so addicting still baffles me sometimes.

I'm amazed at your devotance, Ashley.

Meanwhile, I'm freaking out because I'll be in Asia for two months. That's 61 days without CC. sixty-one!!!!!!

Government and Econ coming up...whoa boy...

So yeah, back to Calculus AB. I really hope my MC brought my Free Response up. I left like 2 -3 blank for MC, and all ones I did answer I felt good about them. But you know, they put simple mistakes as one of the answers so you never know. But that Free Response. That crap was horrible!. #1 omg, it was a bizznatch. I think i got a 0 on #1, i just blanked out. But my guess now that I think of it was to move both graphs up however much they were below the x-axis. Makes sense right?. I don't know about that volume though and the mother freakin rotate it around the y-axiz equation. HORRIBLE!! O and imma get a 1 in both Lit and Gov't. Good Luck!

liux, according to my teacher. you only need 29 pts to pass. You need to fail high to get a 5. He's pass rate is 88%..so he's credible. I think from the MC alone, you're passing. At least you did some math of the free response. I blanked..and drew pictures of rocket ships. I had nice clouds, smoke, a sun, and everything!

vii, yeah i heard a passing score could be like a D, which would be a 3. But about the free response. You didn't do it? Some of it seemed easy, but some not so easy. The rocket ship one seemed easy. Rocket B = 50 ft/sec?.. anyone else get that lol. I seriously hope to pass just for my teacher. He's amazing, I'd feel sad if I let him down.

yeah it was 50. mr calculus has the answers to the ab free response. On today's physic b's free response, I drew a face with steam coming out of it. =P

damn i have psych on wednesday... and my teacher really hasnt prepped us at all... i opened the barrons book yesterday... so if u guys have any ap gods... please give them a shout out for me... ;)

haha i wrote my graders a little note Jennifer! Wow the test was so hard. i love how our teacher never prepped us for the free response at all.

AP psych was fun for me (took it last year). For the free response, Bsing will get you very far! Most of it is common sense...same with MC too.

I get restless at the end. My mind wanders. I start to fidget. I can't focus. I make start making allowances. (ohh, i did well on mc..it'll make up for it).

i was tempted to draw a smily face on the slope fields..but i scuked it up.

lol Krishna. Maybe we should've drawn a huge swirly circle with a 5 in the middle to hypnotize them into giving us a 5. =P And yes, physics is the probably the one exam I went into feeling really really really unprepared.

I wrote a note on the last FR question of the calc BC exam (the series problem where I completely blanked out). It read:

"Please pass me! :) I would be extremely overjoyed if you do.
By the way, I'm very glad that all these exams are written on 100% recycled paper. It's good that you're ecologically conservative.
Hope you have a marvelous day!"

I barely wrote anything down for that problem, so had some time left on my hands, obviously.
Sometimes I'm cute; sometimes I'm lame. Whether or not I passed will determine which characteristic takes precedence.

I thought Calculus AB mc was extremely easy...but the free response (form B) was sooo hard! They changed the whole format (what was that slope field question!?!) grrr....n now i look at form a n its easier...im REALLY maaad!!
So who else took bio? I thought it was ok...i think i can get a 4 at least...if only i had had time to study ecology...but i didnt cuz i had to study for physics too....which by the way was VERY VERY hard...neone else take it? how'd u find it?
i take chem tom...i hope they haven't changed its format...

Last year the calc teacher tried to use his own problems, and teach calculus the way he thought would be ideal. His 85% pass rate plumpeted down to the 40's. This year we got a brand new text book written by one of the authors of the AP test. Some of past years FR were in this book...
sz694-slope fields were new either last year or the year before. The test makes have this annoying tendency to throw in new concepts. Slope fields surprised AP teachers within the last few years. Luckily, this year, there were no new concepts :)

wow its... 8:43... I'm on page 40 of the barron's book... who else is feelin really really really unprepared for the Ap Psych test tomorrow??? :(
