<p>I want it pretty durn bad, but I'm just playing it by ear. If I end up not getting an appointment or getting a medical DQ, I won't freak out, I'll just look at my other options for joining the Marine Corps (even if it involves another service academy, 5 years of service, and an interservice transfer). I'm praying for a LOA though, got one from USMA, so I'm hoping USNA will send me one. I'm not changing my lifestyle other than getting in better shape, and I'm refraining from doing anything stupid.</p>
<p>I want it more than anything right now and have for the past seven years. Ugh the wait.

<p>Darn it!!!! I just woke up and realized that I wasn't in Plebe Summer yet.....AGAIN!!!! lol. I mean I sorta knew it was a dream, but that part of my brain that didn't want to except that it wasn't happening sure clung onto that hope strongly. Anyway my packet should be done within a few days, but I doubt I'll get an LOA because of my average/below average SAT scores. But whatever, I'm taking them again and again and again, whatever it takes!</p>

Yes and no. Hard to explain, really, and you probably still wouldn't fully understand what I mean. You really do have to live it to fully get it.</p>

<p>After this morning's 5:30am lax practice, right now I'm thinking the Thorpedo WISHIES he was back doing those little PEP things..... "Mom, I've never done anthing like this in my life"..... poor thing, gets to do it all again on Monday! Wakey Wakey!!!!</p>
