Exactly three weeks...

Three weeks from today, us CC addicts will know our Dartmouth Decision...it can be checked after 5 pm on the 30th...with spring break this will come so quickly. So relax and know whatever decision you get will end up for a reason in the end. at least that's what I believe. I got deferred from Brown when I thought that it was the only place I was meant to be. In being deferred, I looked into Dartmouth and realized it's more for me anyways...and if I don't get into either, well heck maybe some stud is waiting for me at another college. It feels like the end of the world but hey that's how I felt and I'm still alive and breathing. We all will be. I'll say some prayers for the general Dartmouth CC community and the others awaiting their destiny. It's weird to think all of this stressing and procrastination spent on CC will be coming to an end that soon. And this process will start for the juniors and we can just say phew it's over. Love to all <333

That was very a motivating and anxiety-relieving point of view. Thank you.

yea thank you...i cant believe its in 3 weeks but im not really worrying about it too much yet. i was crazy in december and ive been ok a little while. i might lose it the week before though well see

hmm a lot of schools are coming out at the same time. I wonder if I'll have to choose which to open first...

Yes.. in three weeks

I will be either celebrating.. or

jumping off from the cliff....

going down with acclearation of 9.8m/s^2

Lol, stambliark41! I'm facing the same dilemma. :p

lol :) It makes me sad that all the Ivies I applied to are posting up their decisions on the same day at the same exact time.

I think I'll be checking Dartmouth's decision first.... I've got a good feeling about it.

Where does it say that Dartmouth will release online decisions at 5PM on the 30th? (If anyone has similar info for Cornell, I'd appreciate it :))

It says when you login on the online decision page.

re: Your Regular Decision Application

Dear Blah,

Thank you for your application for Dartmouth's Class of 2010.

We are now in the final stages of our decision making process, and will soon be notifying you of our decision on your candidacy. Decision letters will be mailed on March 30. **An electronic version of your decision letter will be posted on this page after 5 pm Eastern Standard Time on March 30. **It will be available until April 7.

We appreciate your interest in Dartmouth.

Sincerely,

The Dartmouth Admissions Staff

See you online at 5!

Is there anyone else except for me and my friend who will NOT check online decisions to get the BIG INTENSE SURPRISE IN THE MAIL? (hopefully, it's not the disastrous surprise lol)

im waiting for the regular mail. checking the internet seems sort of..."anti-climactic"

On the one hand, it would be nice to actually have the envelope in hand (although the sight of a skinny one would probably be devastating)... But I'm not sure if I could wait the extra few days knowing that it would be as easy as logging in to the web site to find out the answer.

I guess I'm part of the instant-gratification generation :p

I'm trying to decide which decision I should check first. I'm thinking that I'll start with my first choice school so then if I get rejected I'll have other acceptances to cheer me up. Or maybe I'll just be so depressed I won't check any of the other ones... AHHH I'm going to be a nervous wreck that day

Im going from easiest to get in to hardest to get in so that I will hopefully have an acceptance or two to cheer me up when i get to the big guns.

ummmm... going from the easiest to get in to the hardest to get in seems to be a good idea.. ok. thatz wat i am gonna do =)

Yeah, I agree. There is no way possible that I can possibly wait for the decision to come in the regular mail. I'm antsy and impatient enough as it is... stopping the torture ASAP is a must for me. lol.

hmm I don't know. I'm probably just going to keep refreshing them and whatever comes up gets opened next.

i actually cannot decide whether it makes more sense to go from dream school to safety school or safety school to dream school
