<p>I would say they were generous. All demonstrated need met. Of course parents still feel their EFC was a bit much....11726, but with Vandy's package there is basically approx. a 10,000 gap. Not bad considering the university estimates total of costs for next year to be 49,889.</p>
<p>But it could be less because under the cost for next year, they included an amount of 1,987 for personal/misc. fees. They also did not include any work study. I would like to try and get that.</p>
<p>God that 49,889 number makes me want to cry haha. I'm not expecting to get aid and it's going to be reaaaally hard (if I get in) to justify paying that a year (no matter how much I want to go there) when I could go publics I also like for half that or less. =/</p>
