yeah over rated but dont get fooled by thinking low scores are acceptable.
your score is in no ways low except when considering you for the program. it would most definitely fall on the lower end.
taht being said , my sat i score superscored was 2200, 1500(cr/m)
…in 2 tries. =]

you’re allowed to superscore? I don’t think so.
Superscoring for med programs then defeats the purpose of med program requirements. Its one sitting, even for lower tier programs.

hypothetically say u have an 800 on the bio sat2 and the math 2 and u just happen to get a 23xx. But your gpa is around 3.5 UW with a rigorous courseload(about 2 hnrs sophmore and freshie year and junior year 1 hnrs and 5 ap’s and senior courseload is pretty much 7 ap’s), with the usuall med Ec’s and regular Ec’s. what would someone’ chances be to get into a decent bs/md program. preferablly in NY?

There is no “decent bs/md program”, they are all very hard to get in, any single one. In regard to chances, have to apply and see what happened. Keep in mind that most applicants have GPA much closer to 4.0 than 3.5. But nobody got killed applying. So, go for it!

for rice/baylor, it seems that most people that get in have 34+ ACT and 2300-2400 SAT…after all, they are taking a gambit on you as a student so less than stellar scores probably wouldn’t help you much.

Slightly easier programs might be Drexel, AMC, maybe UMDNJ. But even those are very competitive, and definitely not easy.
