I have been hearing great things about the Examkrackers MCAT prep books. What do you think? Is Examkrackers the best MCAT Prep resource? If not, which other company would you highly recommend?

I've read a couple of chapters from my EK books, and I'm taking the Kaplan course at the same time. While the Kaplan course books are definitely more detailed, I think the EK books are nice in that they only present to you what you really need to know for the MCAT. Kaplan's approach appears to be more focused on providing you a well-rounded (although still not detailed) picture of the scientific topics.

Kaplan and EK also have very different approaches to verbal reasoning. Kaplan has its "map the passage" approach while EK emphasizes a "main idea" approach that actually discourages you from marking anything as you read. I think that both may be effective, and I'm kind of using an approach that's a combination of aspects from each company.

I haven't used the 1001/101 books yet, but I'll be able to post what I think about them when I have time to actually open them...
