Excess credit and taking classes in the summer before transferring in the fall?

I want to take two classes over the summer, one of which isn’t offered by my current CCC. So, I plan to apply to another CCC that offers both classes for the summer.

I didn’t list any courses for summer on my UC app. How do I let the UC know that I will be taking summer classes?

In terms of financial aid, would it be better to take both classes at one CCC than taking one class at each?

I will also have earned 96 semester units if I take the summer classes. Will I be able to use classes outside the 70 semester limit to meet prerequisites and major/degree requirements, but just not have it count towards my units amount?
