exchange student at dartmouth

I was looking at the campus housing at Dartmouth, and how people say that some dorms are better than the others, so I was wondering do you know in which dorm are the exchange students usually accommodated?

Thanks a lot!

If you mean transfer, then this year I believe all of the transfers were in Butterfield, which is ‘average’ quality, but excellent location. But, you don’t get a cool nickname like your neighbor Russel Sage (Sussel Rage!)… (Futterbield?)

I don’t know about where exchange students are housed. It’s possible they are also in Futterbield too.

I met a group of exchange students in the McLaughlin cluster, new, very nice dorms.

Oh, okay, thanks. Because I’ve read how people are complaining about Rivers, so I hope I won’t end up there…

Now, this is an off-topic question, but is class attendance obligatory at Dartmouth, because I was planning on using a weekend plus Friday and Monday for a trip to NYC, so I wanna check that
Thanks a lot!

Rivers is a great place to live. The kids there really bond and develop tight friendships. It is, however, a long walk from anything else . . . .

qwertym: i would guess attendance policy varies from class to class
