OK i recently lost a parent and i am in a really bad situation right now, i am from canada and i wanted to transfer to UW for winter but they do not accept international students as transfer. i have gone to high school in the usa for 2 years and i have done 2 years at a 4 year university in mass, i am planning on taking online classes this semester through Bellevue College. This may sound weird but what do yalll think about enrolling at UW-seattle for this comming winter and spring quarter and then applying as a transfer for summer? i really want to go to UW and i cant wait till next summer to go there.

just to clarify UW does not accept international students for WInter quarter and i do not want to wait till Summer quarter to apply

I don’t have any experience with this type of enrollment, but this website may help you:
[University of Washington credit classes for grad-school prep, career advancement and non-degree students - About](<a href=“University of Washington Non-Degree Enrollment - Seattle”>University of Washington Non-Degree Enrollment - Seattle)

I would certainly use the contact information if you have any questions.

Have you spoken with anyone in the admissions office about your situation? I noticed this “All students who require a F-1 visa should apply as international students, not as transfer students” here: [Plan Your Transfer | University of Washington](http://admit.washington.edu/Admission/International/TransferPlan)

So, take into consideration your visa status when making your plans.
