Excited or Sad?

With 2 weeks left until school (or 4 for some others) are you excited/glad that you can finally get your schedules and see all your friends, or are you much more wishing summer was still going on. Or if both, I'd like to hear why!

Efff. No…

High school is full of drama…

And I only have 5 days till school starts D:

excited to meet friends and get my schedule
sad because of all the dumb drama when you don’t help people cheat, when you dont let people see your hw, when you dont buy them lunch…

Both but mostly sad that summers over, I still have 5 weeks left though!

I’m so excited mostly because school means my EC start again.
Band camp starts Monday (: best time of the year

im extremely sad

I’m excited to start my Senior year. My class schedule is going to be challenging, but I’m interested in everything that I’m taking. I’m also looking forward to being involved in school activities again. I enjoy school quite a bit. The only thing I’m sad about is that my sleeping habits are probably going to suck again.

I cant wait for school to start. I love school!

I’m not done with the summer yet, but school will be nice to start again. I can get back into the grind and I’m somewhat interested to see college application results… although I’m not really thinking about stress now. But it’s inevitable.

nice thread. Excited for schedules, for some reason I REALLY like finding that out, even though I’ll probably be dropping out of AP Physics B and get into AP Stats haha.

TONS of summer homework and I’ve barely made a dent, so a bit bummed about that. senior year= legit with chill teachers, so it should be a bit relaxing before all the hard work starts. then it will get more relaxing so that’s a huge plus :)

I was excited to get my schedule, but I’m sad to actually get back to school.

I still have just under five weeks left. The only thing I’m dreading is waking up at 5:30 in the morning. Other than that, I’m excited for Fall. Actually being productive, acting in the school plays, learning about topics I’m interested in (Physics and World History).

Plus, I really want to get my schedule.

Sad, yet excited, this summer went by wayyyyy too fast.

SAD!! I still haven’t done my summer work

As long as my ACT score increases when I take it in September, Senior year will be a good one for me. I am looking forward to it.

I’m excited for school to start. I get to see my friends, start back sports, etc.

I’m excited as well, but it also means I’m that much closer to taking the flood of standardized tests that will eventually come.

Definitely excited. I’ve never been through any “drama” of what many of you speak of. I’ve never even heard of anything of the sort at my school. If there was, and even if I myself was apart of it, it blew over within a day.

I honestly LOVE school. I love my friends, the teachers, the rules, the way I get to impress my friends and teachers with my grades (and clothes), being mentored by the greatest teacher ever, even the homework and tests (probably not ALL of it). School makes me feel like living is just… worth all the hard work.

@SocalStudent I love getting my schedule too! Must be a southern californian thing or something.

Excited, since I’m gonna be a senior!!! Don’t think I wouldda said the same this time last year. It seems like everything’s falling into place for college, and I can’t wait to get through this year, get some great acceptances, and move on with my life next year!
