Excited?

Not sure if this was asked but is everyone excited for school to start back up? Wishing that summer break was longer? Voice your thoughts.

I for one am dreading going back because of the work but at the same time I kinda miss my school. But I'm sure that'll go away by the 2nd week back :p

btw, mention when you go back. I go back in 3 weeks (August 23rd)

August 22nd. Glad that it’s my last year and I’m this close to never having to open a textbook again. Sucks that I have a massively busy schedule…classes, professional development, interviewing, and other shiznit.

^I wish this was my last year…lucky! haha :p

I go back August 30th and I’m excited to a degree. I think both academic life and social life will continue to improve but like you said, weeks into college, I know I’m going to be wishing I were still on summer break.

Aaaah I wish school started sooner–I start Sept 22nd. It’s so late D:

yes, I’m excited to start college. I leave on the 15th- we have freshmen orientation first. Classes start August 22nd. In general, just excited to get back to school and out of the house because my mom is getting really annoying.

I’m leaving on the 20th. It’s going to be a very long drive (10 hours one way), but I am extremely excited to see my friends again.

SO excited! Probably because I’m going to be an incoming freshman, but yeah  I move in on August 27th and orientation begins. Then classes officially start August 31st. This summer’s been pretty boring despite it being my last before I go away for school. New friends, new school system, new teachers, roomies! So psyched yet nervous :)

i’m excited to be going back Ig uess, i wanna get back into the groove of learning and whatnot, get this application for becomign a business major out of the way (and hopefully get in). otherwise meh, just gonna be another school year. living off-campus instead of commuting so hopefully that improves things but if not, oh well. hopefully I can make one of my housemates buy beer for me.

My (friendly) advice to incoming freshman would be curb your enthusiasm now. It’s like running a marathon…go only as fast as you can go the entire distance.

SOOOOO EXCITED!!!

I miss my friends so much and I can’t wait to live with them all! It will be like freshman year but way more fun since I already know people.

Two more weeks!!!

I absolutely cannot wait to go back. I’m rooming with my friend this year so dorm life is going to be soo much funner this year. Last year I was terrified but this year I’m excited. And my summer is just meh, I have such a boring full time job and I’m sick of waking up at 7am every day. I can’t wait to get back into the swing of classes, attending football games, etc. I go back Aug. 29 and start classes the 31. Feels so close yet so far…

I’m very excited. Freshman year across the country in LA, studying what I love and meeting a zillion new people. =D

I move in on August 17th!

Yeeeaaaaahhh buddddyyyyyyy.

I’m excited but nervous it’s my first year at a new school but I already know a few ppl so it should be chill. I wanna get a job already though. adkslfjalkjdfadsds Can’t waitttt, I miss college life.

Very excited, but I don’t start for another month.

Three more weeks. =)

I get to live with people I actually like this semester so I am very excited.

As for school work, I took classes this summer, so meh. Not really dreading it.

i cant wait to get back

looking forward to classes again, not so much being in dorm (i dislike being alone when i’m sick)

So excited, but also a bit nervous. I don’t move in until September 17/18 (haven’t found out my move in date yet.) I hate having to wait this long! :p

So, so, so nervous. I think my nervousness is overpowering my excitement as the day gets closer… Will people like me? Will I make friends? Will I be relegated to another four years of high school? :frowning: I mean chatting with future classmates on FB is bound to be alot different than actually hanging out with them in real life… Funny, the the social aspect of college is what scares me more than the academics…

PrinceMuzic, if it makes you feel any better, the people I’ve met in college are far past the high school mentality and don’t want to act like that. They want to be there; they want to grow and mature.
