<p>You have a right to be proud, but you should be sensitive. At D’s school usually one of your friends puts a poster up for each acceptance in the senior lounge. Solves the problem a bit.</p>

<p>At our school, the guidance office uses a display case in the hall right outside the office that has the name of each senior, the logo of the college/military branch/company if employed…they are going to attend, and (if they have been in the district from kindergarten), a copy of his or her kindergarten picture - just love seeing the cute pictures every year!!!</p>
<p>there are around 450 seniors in my school, but the conversion rate from high school to college is only around 40%… my school is borderline Baltimore City, so a lot of kids graduate and enter the workforce.</p>
<p>even still, the map becomes REALLY full with pins around april 1. people end up putting pins in the middle of an ocean once a particular area becomes too crowded.<br>
i remember someone stuck Columbia in India.
