I'm thinking about being a pre-med student in college and I have AP credits that could exempt me from core courses and allow me to go directly into higher level courses. Would this be wise, say If I have an AP Calc BC credit and automatically go into Calc 3? I'm afraid that I won't be on the same level as other students in the class and thus my grades will suffer, should I choose to place out of the basic courses.

only place out of a basic course if you want to (i.e. are interested in learning the more advanced material)
