Exercising in High School

<p>I'm seeing a few threads on exercising but none on what to actually do! Lately I've wanted to go for cross country in the fall but I'm worried I won't be in shape!</p>

<p>What do you guys do as exercise? Any fellow cross country runners? What's your routine?</p>

<p>Step 1: Go outside
Step 2: Run</p>

<p>Yep^^^^. Yoga also helps.</p>

<p>Tennis 3 or 4 times a week
Lift weight at the gym 2 or 3 times a week</p>

<p>and dats wut I do</p>

<p>Have a workout for running. 1 day go for a long run, 1 day go for a recovery run (light) run, and 1 day go for a speed workout.</p>

<p>I did p90x and know I’m doing p90x2. I also mountain bike, play soccer, rock climb, and occasional kayak.</p>

<p>Also, just in case there are any people on CC who think they should be studying more rather than exercising are completely mistaken. Exercising is incredibly beneficial for a myriad of mental, physical, and psychological reasons, which have quite a positive impact on academic success.</p>

<p>I love exercising! It’s a stress reliever for me. I do DVDs (lol) and I run (track and field)</p>
