<p>I've been waitlisted to both Exeter and Deerfield. I'm contacting the AOs, coaches, and everyone that might help me get off the waitlist. I'm also planning on writing a letter to both schools. But I can't decided which is my first choice. I've loved Exeter since the beginning of 8th grade last year, but I feel that Deerfield is just as good. Should I tell both schools that they're my first choice? Or should I carefully decide on one in hope that it will be the right school, and risking rejection from the other?</p>
<p>No. You should never, under any circumstances, tell two schools they’re your first choice. If I were you I would do some more research and decide which one you like better. You might also want to look at the master list of acceptances and see which one has more kids on the wait list, as you’re going to want to pick the school that you believe you have a better chance at.
