I am an eighth grade girl, applying for ninth grade.
I am from Oklahoma.
SSAT: 91%
Verbal:71% 689
Reading:88% 710
Math:97% 782
I am in all advanced classes and maintain a GPA of 4.0.
I have won numerous awards, such as placing 1st in the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics state competition, being ranked in the top ten in the state National Geographic Bee, and winning a scholarship.
Also, I have many extracurricular activities
Piano: 8 years, superior ratings
Band: 3 years, 2nd chair trumpet, all-district student
Tennis: 2 years, Singles 2
Art: 7 years, acrylic and oil paintings
Student Council: 2 years, President
Kumon: 3 years, Levels K math and L reading

On paper you look almost like me (flip flop the academic stuff with the sports ;]), and I got into all off the schools. I'm at Exeter now, and I feel like one of the better of students here. Personally, after going through all this, the best thing to show the admissions is your ambitions and why you should be there instead of someone else. I have friends here who were geniuses and still got rejected from some schools. Get to know the school well before doing your interview and be brave.

You look like you have a pretty good shot, but i coul say that probabley about everyone else applying. Kumon is odd, but thats good because it stands out. Good luck
