I'm wondering what my chances are at all of the top schools like Exeter/Andover/Deerfield/St. Pauls. I just got my SSAT results back and I really underestimated what score I was going to get so now I need to reevaluate the schools I'm applying to. I'm in the 9th grade currently but I'm planning on repeating the year at prep school.

I've been in the Gifted/Highly Capable program since 2nd Grade. Grade 8 GPA: 3.85 Grade 9 classes and first quarter grades: Keep in mind my school goes by semesters, these grades are not permanent and I'm planning on getting them up.
Gifted/Highly Capable Chemistry (A)
Gifted/Highly Capable English (A-)
Gifted/Highly Capable Algebra 2 (A-)
AP World History (B+)
Intro to Computer Programming(A)
Digital Audio Video Production(A)

SSAT Percentile overall:** 98%

Created a lawn mowing company and earned over 2,000 dollars in one summer
Worked at a European Bakery
Selected by my teachers to represent my middle school at the Junior National Leadership Conference in Washington D.C.

Before getting my scores back I was planning on applying to:
NMH, The Hill School, St. Georges, St. Marks, Middlesex and St. Pauls (as a reach)

Can you give me suggestions of schools to add?

Very impressive. Apply to Andover, Exeter, Deerfield, St. Paul's School & Groton. If you live near Milton Academy, that is an option. Roxbury Latin is an all boys day school outside of Boston. Hotchkiss is another great boarding school. But, your first idea of applying to Andover, Exeter, Deerfield & St. Paul's School was enough.
Do NOT reveal where you live, but consider private day schools close to home if there are any.

Thanks for the advice coldwind, I'm just wondering how is Groton compared to the other schools?
And I want to repeat because I want to go to boarding school for 4 years so that I get the full experience.

You should have a good chance at Exeter/Andover/Deerfield/St. Pauls. So now you have to start sorting out the atmosphere, size, special strengths, setting, etc. Good luck!

When you say 'started lawn mowing company' do you mean ACTUALLY starting a company - which entails name registration, rights, etc.? Or you just mowed lawns for the summer...

If it's the latter, than if I were you I'd be careful not to inflate it to the former - especially to the admissions officer(s).

Ah, well it was more of the later. I did do advertising and had 3 people working under me but we didn't do any of the registration. We had about 20 different people we worked for which isn't exactly a tiny number. How can I say that I ran a fairly decent sized operation without implying incorporation?

You can use the term "business" intsead of "company". Just be mindful that there are all sorts of requirements you may have had, such as withholding, social security and unemployment insurance, immigration checks, etc.

You cannot use the term company, and I would call it a "business venture".
I will tell you this:
"Selected by my teachers to represent my middle school at the Junior National Leadership Conference in Washington D.C."

I would not really put much stock into that... I was picked for the highschool version and from what I was told it isn't really an accomplishment. Mainly if your parents want to pay the fee or not. Just what I was told.

Is your school a charter school or a public school? I know if you go to a more impressive school then better grades mean more(Sort of obvious) and if that is the case then STRESS that. My school is sending the academic fact sheet with my grades.

I go to deerfield, and with your grades and ssat scores, it sounds like youd be fine to get in here, but why is your username "69" thats a little discomforting...
