exeter sent me a thank you note for submitting my applciaiton... which i have not done yet.. they said, "thanks for submitting your app.. we suggest you start looking at the course catalog...." which they attacthed... i sent the preliminary/inquiry form app (though it had much more info that most.. eg, full list of EC's..... did that count as my main app? and not they just ned the recs and essays?? that would be a huge rrelief.

Hmm...strange. Kind of hard to understand, though. What do you mean by "and not they just ned the recs and essays??"?

lol. i'm so frantic right now nobody can understand what i'm typing on AIM either. i meant:

and then now do they just need the recs and essays? .. since I already did the EC's and general info?

Blair . Stop.Stop.Stop. The deadline is in 2 days you have spent all this time posting nonsense instead of doing what is required to attend BS. You are killing us.

What the? I have not done anything to you. If you can't answer the question (which has nothing to do with what you just stated), then don't post. I'm afraid you don't know what I'm talking about, or what you're talking about for that matter. It was an honest question seeking an answer.

you asked if you "have to send in your essays and recs". yes , but anyone knows these basic procedures so why ask. I WAS HONESTLY ANSWERING YOUR QUESTION . Don't get angry because you are "frantic". The serious applicants got this done weeks ago.EA has 1000 apps good for roughly 60 spots. If you don't get clear feed back it is not fair to you.

This was done weeks ago. That's why they sent me a thank you letter. My question was: Do I just need to send the essay now, or also send general information (because I wasn't sure if what they received was the application).

You are in no place to judge my seriousness about applying. I am obviously serious about applying. That's not up for debate. You didn't answer the question.

So, could someone informed please offer any information regarding my post?

I AM NOT ANSWERING THE QUESTION.aT 10:47 YOU POSTED THAT YOU HAVE NOT SENT YOUR APPLICATION.POST MARKED IS BEST CASE WHICH IS TUESDAY.LAST MINUTE WOULD BE DEFINED BY THIS SCHEDULE.THESE ARE FACTS.RESPECTFULLY YOU ARE NOW ON IGNORE TO ME.THANKYOU .

I would send in the General Info form if you are unsure. Better to be safe than sorry in this case. If you have any questions, you can always call the admissions office up.

The preliminary application that has the box for ECs is the application that they speak of. After that, there is no "formal" application, unlike other schools. They obtain information about your ECs from that first form, and the rest comes from the rest of the application. You can check on LionLinks (if you have received the username and password, which should come by e-mail) to see what you have turned in. Make sure that at this point, you can still turn in your recommendations. I believe school starts for you on the 16th again? Meanwhile, you'll have to finish your essays and pick up your recommendations then go quickly to the post office before it closes and have them sent. :)

It can be executed, with a bit of skill. :D

Really, Blair, you have to stop posting these inane topics.

Ah, but you must take into account that it takes but a few movements of the fingers and a few pushed buttons on a keyboard and a slight inconvenience of yours to give someone peace of mind. :)

chaos, you are so right , but "The ignored" is fueled to create more confusion when placated( sp.).You are a fellow solid canidate who started this process months ago and is using this board as a way to stay connected to a group going through the long application cycle. this is better than TV

...got my answer, forgot to post it. thanks anyway chaos.

i'm finished w/ my exeter app... only have to mail my essay.

if you forget to add something in the EC box, do you just call the admissions office and tell them? or can you not do anything anymore?

i think they would be annoyed... i mean, i'm sure they get lots of letters and excuses and notes all the time

I couldn't remember if I filled out the EC box on the first application, because my dad took it without asking (he didn't think that I might not have finished it), and when I realized, I just prinited out that page from the website, filled out the ECs box and explained what happened in a one sentence, and sent it with my essay. I don't really think they'll mind.

yeah, that's fine.. i meant like, lame excuses.
