8th grade - Everyone takes my English class under diff. teachers

Yes same for us… we have different teachers but the same curriculum, some teachers are easier, some are harder…

yeah seriously, people in my grade think guidance plots which teachers we get based on how hard they are

My class has the only different teacher out of the grade (4 classrooms total) and she grades like 80% harder than the other one :(

lmao paula ;)

Our school has this much too complicated team system (with half team and stuff like that), so there are 3 8th grade english teachers, but my team (the only ppl we’re allowed to interact with) only had one, and hes totally in retirement mode

So sorry, Rad. I’m sure there’s better news coming for you on Wednesday.

Hopefully o.O

Thanks to all of you! :)

rad, i’m really sorry about your exeter disappointment, but i’m sure you’ll have better news coming from elsewhere on wednesday. by the way, i’m curious, have your school math grades been running low too or is it just your ssat math grade that’s low?

School math also. Particularly last year b/c I had horrible (and I mean HORRIBLE) teacher!coughWHOREWHOREWHOREWHOREWHOREcough

that’s really sad. many (most?) public school administrators don’t seem very sensitive to how much damage just one bad teacher can wreak on a lot of kids.

stupid unions

Rad, I’ve always thought of you as a really nice person who genuinely tried to help the other applicants on here. If Exeter doesn’t accept you, it’s their loss! I’m sure you’ll not only be accepted somewhere else (a better fit for YOU), but you’ll succeed immensely there. Don’t let the man get you down!

i have just the opposite problem. I’m good at math, but I am bad with English(I wish people can use Latin, Korean or mathematics to communicate sometimes) and my verbal score was very low(my reading was also low, but wasn’t that bad). This is probably bigger problem since most school care more about humanities. :(

RAD!!! I am so sorry, that stinks. Hopefully, other schools will accept you!! It also makes me quite worried because I got a horrible grade on the math on the ssat’s as well D: It’s all good though, if exeter doesn’t want your amazingness, you can keep it to yourself!!

Rad, I am so sorry. Your other scores were really good and it’s Exeter’s lost for not accepting you (sorry for the cliche). You are extremely funny and athletic from the way you talk about track. After “getting to know you online”, I remember that you don’t really want to go there anyway, so it’s okay.

@PaulaZaria, I read animal farm in 7th grade and we talked about the propaganda.

Thanks again guys for the support! I’m going to congratulate you all in advance for getting in right now so I don’t forget later ;)

Haha Rad I’m glad that now you’re feeling better and at least you’re not d e v a s t a t e d. I will definitely remember to congratulate you when you get into Taft!!!

Btw, do remember to congratulate me :D.

psh, you guys should remember i was ttly bashing exeter and only applied there really b/c a) my mom peer pressured me b) i had some inclination that it might be alright to consider ;)

go rad. :D

Wow Rad… you are awesome…

You could take that rejection without getting devastated…

Even if I’m rejected at my least favorite school, I will not be as strong as you.
