Exeter Dorms

My daughter is in Bancroft. Is it any good? It was the one she wanted but she doesn’t know anything about it. She wanted to be in it because she knows a nice English teacher who lives on the fourth floor.

I’m in gould…and according to the website’s campus map…that’s a boys dorm?? lol…I am so lost.

My son, an Exeter upper this year, says to tell you all that Williams House is fine Canadian Kid, you will be happy there. He says Webster South is fine too, Merrill is right next to the dining hall and you can get onto the dining hall roof if you are sneaky
Lamont is right near the health center and we knew a senior there last year who enjoyed her time in Lamont. You have to walk pretty far to any d-hall though.
Bancroft is closer to food than Lamont (you can see that food is a big theme here - an athelete who has eaten me out of house and home all summer!). He says everyone he has met from Bancroft has been very nice.
Good luck to you all!

You guys can see yours dorms on the Exeter campus map.

Williams is a great house with about 12 students and wonderful faculty members. Webster South is a good mid-size dorm (~30), close to the gym and the dining hall. Gould House also has about 12 students and a great dorm head this year–a fantastic art teacher! I guess they’re switching it to girls this year (that happens occasionally).

an art teacher? i would love that!
