Has anyone received their Exeter math placement yet?

like the actual class we placed in?

no. do you know when we will?

Yes, the exact class our students will be placed in.

i just looked today and it was up.

Okay, that's good news. It's not up for my daughter though; we'll keep looking thanks. She might have submitted hers later than yours.

Yeah, I mean, I'm not sure if they put em all up around the same time or as they complete them....so I wouldnt worry.

i am going to sps. they had me give my algebra teacher a form to fill out for his recommendation. i did have to take a spanish test. at first i thought i was dense then my mom told me that it covered spanish 4 level topics just to see where i stand. whew.

Your mom is right, nhfootballer. The best thing is to not worry about what you don't know. Just do what you can. That will ensure proper placement. The last thing you want during the first semester of your first year is to feel way out of your league.

i still haven't gotten my math placement. is this the case with anyone else?

My daughter still hasn't received it.

Yes I got my math placement. (I'm an incoming prep)
You can check it on Lionlinks.
I think all you need to do is click "My academic schedule" <-or something like this ..hopefully, you'll be able to see which math class u were placed in.

really? like, when you look on the blackboard site and click on "my academic year" you dont see a math class? it just says math placement? i wonder why. cause mine has been up for at least 2 weeks, and im thinking a bit longer. you might want to contact the school. just email them to make sure they got your placement test, you know?

okay, i will email the school now. :]

Yes, we did all of that, and it still says "math placement."

We never got a test at all, I just looked and he was placed in Math by the dept.

Hmmmm.

i think it just depends on WHEN the math department reviews your math placement test.
oh and if you didn't get a math placement test, then it probably means that Exeter's math department was able to analyze your mathematical skills wihtout having you take a math placement test.

yeah, i would email them. just in case they didnt get it.

Keep in mind though that school just ended, meaning they had piles of finals to grade, plus comments for each of their students (minus the seniors)

oohh. true true.

My daughter just got her math placement. Do 9th graders ever get into T3 math?
