Exeter Monday

Chaos... we too are with you...

Will anyone apply for 2008 fall if... (God forbid), we are not accepted by E for fall 2007? If so, are the ods decresed becasue 10th grade admits are not the same high numbers as 9th grade admits?

Perhaps this is a better served conversation for after the 12th of March or so...

Don't be negative!!! :D There is still time for all of us for acceptances to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Don't upset the admissions gods, whatever you do!

It is likely that I will not apply next year because the admissions are very competitive for 11th grade. I may find that my current public school will suffice for the next 3 years.

I wish the best of luck to all Exeter applicants tomorrow. May the forks be with you.

i'll be waiting for exeter on monday too!

Forks? hyperventilates Not the forks, whatever you do!

It is evident that all have much energy surrounding the final hours. I just wanted to say that each of you have provided significant insight into a process that otherwise would be grey/vague/without clarity. We will be here after the 12th. -- IF outcomes are negative, (in our view). Best wishes to everyone.

Thankee kindly, marm/sir (sorry I've forgotten which). You have, too.

If you happened to be accepted to Andover and Exeter, which one would you choose, and why?

Just wait for Chaos to post his forumla for Exeter. ;)

i love his pwnage equation! power to l33t 5p34k hahaha

Blue is the international color for safety school :). It's a joke relax! Good luck Tom,Chaos,MSU etc. Dream big envelopes.

School tomorrow equals one word: torture.

prettyckitty, i have no school today .
=]
i guess it may be better if a package comes , but i think it increases the suspense too much .
i kinda wish i had school.
4.5 hours until packages MAY arrive .

Someone from Andover on here told me it's easier to get in as a tenth grader because the pool is less competitive.

GOOD LUCK!!!

I hope to see you most of you there in September!

(did I learn off Chaos?)

jon - if that's true , i'm SO excited .
not overly excited , but i think it is possible .
i got 95th overall on ssat , and my ec's include like 4 high school clubs ( that i take seriously ) & indian dancing and flute .
& i DID apply and get wailisted last year .
so i don't know .

Good Luck! Remember to post in the March 10 Decisions Thread,

Chaos, GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D If you get inn, or not, you should just start your own Exeter results thread, I'm sure there will be many posts congradulating you on your sucess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

rey, I'm off from school today as well because it is my birthday and I'm feeling a little under the weather...

SO LET ME KNOW OF YOU'RE REPLY FROM ANDOVER!!!

I also agree with Jonathan...it might be easier because first off the applicant pool may be less competitive, not as many legacies, etc...

That's just a guess. I was thinking that MOST legacies decide to come in 9th grade, not 10h, 11th, or 12th.
