Has anyone been? Is it a good experience? Would you consider it a waste of time for a rising senior? How is its college counseling office?

Hi, my S went to Exeter Summer Academy the summer before his senior year in high school and totally enjoyed it! He got to take classes that he enjoyed and were not offered at his high school. There were many extracurricular’s to participate in. My S played basketball the entire time, even though I tried to convince him to try something new. There were many trips to Boston and New York as well as opportunities to visit several surrounding colleges; Dartmouth, Brown and Yale. S said the best part though was getting to meet so many new and interesting people from all over the world. Overall, it was great exposure for him and a good resume builder for college. Hope this helps.
